Cupid and the Stupids also known as C.A.T.S. are one of the best seven piece, broadway-punk rock 'n' roll, cute core, Australian Love bands in the world. Self recorded around the northern rivers of NSW the sound is powered on love, limited by the garage and inspired by Del Shannon and Suzi Quatro. The live show is loose and being fronted by tap Dancer 'JuJu' the energy is always high. Their self titled debut album 'Cupid and the Stupids' features eighteen hits. Side A Romance: Comprises eight gooey, hold your lovers hand on the couch, wimpy, slow burners while Side B Dance: Ups the tempo progressing through ten songs of increasingly rock 'n' roll energy culminating in an undeniable urge to stand up and dance. The songs were all recorded by the band and through the limiting nature of their tape machine capture some endearing, honest and heartfelt real time moments.
