Courtney Barnett - End of the Day (Milky Clear Vinyl)

Courtney Barnett releasing her first ambient album End of the Day (music from the film Anonymous Club), announcing on July 11th with three singles that flow seamlessly into one another. A fully imagined version of the ambient music that Courtney and Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) co-composed/produced to accompany her documentary film Anonymous Club, which premiered last year at SXSW. Courtney will be supporting the album release with a special performance/Q&A at the GRAMMY Museum in August. 

Comprising 17 seamless improvisations which were originally created as part of score to the documentary 'Anonymous Club', 'End Of The Day' is a meditative, slow-burning and beautiful record, prioritising atmosphere, tone and texture over traditional song structures and melodic hooks. It's a fearless and stunning turn for an artist who built her formidable reputation through profound lyricism and riff-based fireworks.
